Luis Fandos

With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Luis Fandos, MD, ABAPM, is a distinguished physician specializing in interventional pain management. A native of Rosario, Argentina, Dr. Fandos moved to the United States in 1993. He completed his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1997, followed by a fellowship in interventional pain management at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University. He further honed his expertise with a neuropathic pain fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York City. Dr. Fandos is a physician leader at New York Spine and Pain Physicians in Bay Shore, New York. He is also the director of the Division of Pain Medicine at South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore and was recently appointed Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. His commitment to education and innovation in pain management is evident through his contributions to training resident physicians and his lectures in the U.S. and internationally. Driven to offer more to his patients, Dr. Fandos ventured into cellular medicine. He employs genetic testing, peptide therapy, IV therapies, hormonal replacement therapy, diet, and nutrition supplementation to craft personalized wellness programs. These programs target specific cellular pathways, addressing the root causes of various diseases.
